PenQuin Suit was founded in 2021 by classical cellist Alvin Wong. A brand that designs classic formal wear with well-being as the top priority, PenQuin Suit gives musicians the long overdue flexibility and comfort to move freely and to perform their absolute best. Fellow musician friends and colleagues noticed that traditional tailcoats and jackets were very restricting when it comes to playing instruments, making it not only uncomfortable but also hard to manoeuvre in. Some even suffered from tension, sore, pain, even injuries due to long term strains on the body.

PenQuin Suit clothing provides a solution for performing artists to look and play the part with ease, featuring flexible, stylish tailcoats and formal wear made from stretchy, lightweight, breathable and durable materials. Partnering with prominent Hong Kong Designer Sing-Chin Lo at Plotz Co., the first Collection of The PenQuin Tailcoat, Pants and Shirt is specially designed to accommodate the athletic demands of musical performances and other movement-centric occasions, giving a maximum range of movement as well as new found freedom and comfort.
